About meI am a fifth grade teacher on the northeast side of Indianapolis. I love to read, and my favorite part of my job is helping students to pick books, and guiding them through novels in guided reading groups.

About my libraryUnfortunately, I don't have anything that would be considered, "my" library. This summer I interned at the White River Libary, and I live in Indianapolis, so I am a frequent visitor at the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library.

Hi!

To join YHBA you need to first be a member of ILF/AIME. Are you active in these organizations?
Hey there! THanks for your comment! It was exciting to log on and to see it!

Yes, I do love YHBA, in fact, I am on the committee! We do quite a bit with it at my school.

I checked out your collection too. City of Ember is one I have yet to read, but is very popular with our students. It seems overall that your books are a bit "older" than most of mine. I am hoping to create a Library Thing for o ur school library and let the students add their favorite books.

Fuzz Frenzy is one of my very FAVORITE books! In fact, check out my blog - I dod a lot with it as example posts! :)
