About me i sometimes paint teeny watercolors and gouaches, usually of elderly people or something, if i can find the time. i walk aimlessly around SF alot, with some cheapo russian camera or my sketchbook. i am afraid of heights and get vertigo fairly easily. i keep several moleskines going at once, one for design, one for sketches, one for work and one for my purse. i like reading illustration how-to's and using micron pens. i work as a graphic designer in San Francisco. i am in love and engaged. that's about it for now.

About my library i love collecting first edition and/or signed Paul Bowles and Edward Gorey books. I also collect a lot of mid-century graphic design annuals, from Graphis, NY Art Directors Club, Tokyo Art Director's Club and more. Photography and art history also comprise a large chunk of my book collection. As well as comic books. And biographies. And fiction.

Hi,

Is the Edouard Lanteri book appropriate for someone getting started on small sculpture? I'm finding lots of recommendations for it, but they're all sort of vague.
hey i'm looking for a helen levitt book i'd seen a while back, and i was wondering if the one in your collection is the one with three boys on the cover, one of them singing, and "helen levitt" written in a red sans serif font. uh... right, thanks.
I was just checking this site because I haven't been on here in forever... HI!
xoxo
I was wondering who else owns The Art and Science of Digital Compositing! Cool!

I see we've got the same Vintage Crime edition of The Talented Mr. Ripley too. Check out my other: signed first edition of the 1955 printing! (I gotta take a picture of the cover).
Hey, I know you from LJ! :)
Now I'll really never leave my room.

...Hey cool, we both have the same edition of Howards End. :]
What collection? Olivia, I'm a-waitin' for all your art books to come up. And new novel suggestions!
yeah, i just started being a nerd also. i haven't even gotten as far as you though.
