Noticed you liked She's Come Undone, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's downward spiral and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,
Hi there. I noticed my book, Love and Other Natural Disasters, was in your library, and I wanted to let you know I'm doing an author chat for the next two weeks. It'd be great to see you there!

Hi there ~ I just finished "The Richest Season" by MaryAnn McFadden and I wasn't thrilled with it, overall. I thought it was good at first, but it fizzled. The story felt like an Anita Shreve "wannabe".....I just wrote a review for it, as it was an Advanced Reader's Copy from the Early Reviewers Group. The story just wasn't that believable or realistic. It was the first semi-negative review I've written since I began reading ARCs....I felt bad. LOL

Enjoy your holiday! Happy 4th!
Hi there! Thanks for accepting my friend request ~ I saw that we have alot of books in common. I'm reading an ARC right now, "The Richest Season", it's pretty good. Reminds me of Anne Rivers Siddons or Anita Shreve, as it's set on Pawley's Island, on the beach.

Have a great weekend!

Aargh, 3 months without snagging an ER book, I'm starting to feel left out! Hope you got a few....
I didn't get any this month, although I requested 4 from the batch. Maybe I'd better finish Double or Nothing and post my review! What did you get?
Hi,
I got a March book from 2 requests - the poker book. I didn't request either of the later batch, though they boh looked good. I have too many unread on my shelves! Hope you got lucky again,
Mel
Yes, I got A Dangerous Age, I requested 4 in all and was still surprised to be chosen. I'm not saying a thing.... the air is getting tense on the How Many Books Did you Get thread.... I'm done posting there, can't handle the pressure. Happy reading, and congratulations,
Mel
Pssst...did you snag a February Book? I'm afraid to say....
I feel badly for those who've not gotten picked yet, but not bad enough to stop requesting books that interest me. How about you? I've shared half of mine so far, mostly to Abby, so I have no guilt! Happy reading!
Hi,
We share quite a few books and the lucky receipt of 6 ER Books and a pending 7th. I'm working through Gardens of Water and hope to be posting my review this week. Our libraries are very similar in size and I look forward to perusing yours to look for more interesting reads. Nice to meet you,
Mel
Hi, I added your library to my list of interesting library connections, because we have no books in common, and because I'm curious about the books and authors you read. I've discovered some wonderful books and authors at LT by exploring the libraries of people with different lists than my own. Also I was interested to see what your library is like, since we both belong to the ER group, and you have received seven books according to your last message. I'm content with the three books I've received, but am interested in the kind of books in a library that would be given seven to review.

Regards,

April d.
Hi! Thanks for being my LibraryThing friend. It's nice to meet you. We have some great books in common!
