About meI'm new to this site and eager to learn as much as I can about it, being a book lover since as far back as I can remember. One of the earliest photos of me shows a book in my lap. Lately, I've joined the ranks of authors with a sci-fi thriller, Gray Apocalypse. I plan on writing a lot more books, both commercial fiction and other, more serious work both fiction and non-fiction. I'm eager to share my books, my thoughts about them, and learn what others have to say as well about these same books.

About my libraryI've always bought more books than I can read, though I have always purchased a book with the intention of reading it. I hate getting rid of books, although on more than a few occasions I've had to purge my library of everything except the books that have meant the most to me. I'm sure you know how it is: The books you love, that have had a great impact on you, they say who you are, and it's easier to chop off a finger than to part with those. My library is built up again, with about 1,500 read and 1,500 unread. I don't want to go into detail about them now, that I will save for the lists, but I do want to comment on how they look. I have many bookcases, floor to ceiling, and they are beautiful to look at. They are works of art, something Cezanne could have splashed onto a canvas.

Thanks for the copy of your book which I received awhile back. I enjoyed reading it immensely and have finally posted my review on Library Thing and Amazon.com. I also posted the review on my blog, which gets a fair amount of traffic for an unpublicized site.
You're quite welcome, James! A lot of people aren't familiar with my screen name. I started using it when I became fascinated with the whole Holy Grail concept about 15 years ago.
Hi James

Thanks very much for the opportunity to read and review your book. I wanted to let you know that my review is now up here on LT and will be up on Amazon and B&N within the next couple of days. I look forward to more of your work.
Thanks for the Early Reviewer copy, James. Your first novel is a great start at fast-paced action sci-fi. You held my attention all the way, and I'm a picky bastard of a reader.

Kudos!
Hi, James. I received a review copy of your novel and just wanted to let you know that I am, IN FACT, going to review it. Just have a couple more books on my docket, then into that. It looks like a treat!

James,

Just thought I would drop you a note to let you know that I loved your novel. I am composing a review of it now and plan on posting it on this site and others very soon.

Thank you for sending me Gray Apocalypse, I hope to be able to read more of your work soon.

Jennifer
James,

I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to review your first novel. Although I saw some negatives, the story itself was wonderful, and I enjoyed it a great deal (and I strongly believe that the negatives are just the result of inexperience -- and they did NOT detract from my enjoyment of the story). I greatly look forward to any future offerings that you might have.

James,

Damn good book. I enjoy a book when the characters are so real to me and the love story sub plot was romantic in a non syrupy way. It was very exciting and I'm glad I read it.

Thanks for sending me the copy and I look forward to your next book. I posted my review here and also on B&N.com. I wasn't able to post on Amazon because I'm not a patron of them.

Thanks again,

Carrie
James,
I received Gray Apocalypse in the mail about a week ago, and I must admit that I expected the worst. I am a few chapters in and so far I am pleasantly surprised. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to read and review your book!

Hello, I tried to post my review on Amazon, but it won't allow me to because I need to make a purchase. Sorry. However, I believe I was allowed to rate it. I gave it 5 stars. By the way, thank you for the opportunity to receive this great book.
Best Wishes,
Catrina
Hey James! I just received the copy of your book in the mail. I will be finishing up my degree next week in Library Science. So after next Thursday, I will be able to give full attention to your book. I am looking forward to reading and reviewing it. I'll let you know what I think!

Thanks again,

Carolann
Thank you for the book. I really enjoyed it and hope you will keep on writing!
I wish to thank you for choosing me to receive a copy of Gray Apocalypse. It looks like such an interesting book, I can't wait to start reading it. I will start it as soon as I finish the one I am reading now. I also plan to check out the website. I will let you know as soon as I have finished it and have posted my review. Best of luck with everything.
Thank you for the review copy of Gray Apocalypse. I will read and review it as soon as possible. Good luck on your online promotion campaign!
Jim, thanks for the book. It is next on my list. I just started reading _Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell_ (846 pages), so it may be a few days. :) I will update you when I review.

Thanks again,
Chris.
Thanks, Jim for 'Gray Apocalypse'. I received it in the mail today. I am in the middle of four other books but it will be one of the next ones I read. I will let you know when I am done and post reviews accordingly. Thanks again, it looks very good.
