Janey - My mom's book club (in Blaine, WA) recently read "The Pale Surface of Things"; I guess they had you as a guest. My mom loved the book, and recommended it so highly I went right out and bought it. She was very impressed with you, and was tickled to have met you. I haven't read it yet, but I wanted to say "hi".
