About me Regencies, regencies, regencies! Thanks to Jane Austen and then Georgette Heyer, that genre is my main passion. I love reading the classics and spending time watching the BBC, A&E or whatever versions of the movies I can find. I'm a transplanted New Englander, avid Red Sox fan, love equally the mountains and the beach, love 70's & 80's music (my era!), love my husband, family and friends! :)
About my library Predominately Regency romances - Georgette Heyer and Elizabeth Mansfield making up the majority. Some John Grisham made their way onto my shelves, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Little House books, LM Montgomery and even a few Nancy Drew. :)

Wives & Daughters is simply stunning. I *almost* prefer to the '95 P&P (yes, blasphemy, I know!). The characters are wonderful and the cinematography is lovely. That's another one I could watch and watch and not get tired of. I haven't read the book yet, but it's on my BookMooch wishlist. Gaskell is such an underrated author.
If you hear when Cranford will be airing before I do, please let me know! I'll do the same for you. I'm looking forward to it, having just read the book. Good stuff!
