having a lot of books in common. wanted to go through your catalog but it feels stalker-ish/creepy to do it without saying hello, like your books etc., so... hello...
yeah these are old time pulp stories written in the '30s...pre-scientology. sometimes i lap up this stuff like chicken soup...good for the soul...fun reads.
I have [Strange Piece of Paradise] in my tbr pile {for quite some time now}. Let me know what you think of it. I'm finishing up [In the Woods] by Tana French. It's excellent.
It's great. i knew very little of this history and I couldn't put it down all day yesterday. I've seen a lot of Goddard's films over the years but I want to see them again as they come up in the book.
Hi Joanne, just thought I'd drop in and visit as we're such close neighbours. I noticed you when I added my Comox Valley book (I live in Courtenay). I have a very dear friend who lives in Ganges.

All the best,

Katherine
Hmm, didn't really mean to make that a private comment! :)
Hi again,

How long have you been on Salt Spring? It's a lovely spot! Yeah, I heard that you had gotten more snow. Needless to say, so did we, although I think spring may have finally sprung on us... I will ask my sister if she knows you!
Hi Joanne,

Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries! Coincidentally, I was on Salt Spring last month visiting my sister. (So great to take a break from winter in Montreal and visit your spring!) I'll be interested to compare our reviews of that ER book, once we've both gotten it and read it!
