I've read Chronicles in Stone and The Successor by Kadare, but thank you for the tip on Palace of Dreams. I've enjoyed reading your blog and seeing the pics of your lovely house (full disclosure - Candy told me you were blogging ;-) I hope early retirement is fun for you and hope to do the same one of these days when newsweek finally kicks the bucket :-)
