About meI'm a former English teacher and an avid reader, crafter and animal lover. These days I'm working in a technology field and trying to figure out how I can make reading my occupation! :)
About my libraryMy library is heavily suspense/mystery/crime fiction. But, I enjoy books from all almost all genres.

I read your review of my book on your website and loved that you highlighted the scene in the jazz club. It's one of my favorites but no one else has mentioned it before. Good eye!
Best,

Thanks for the very articulate review of my novel "A Pure Double Cross." I can tell you are a former English teacher!
I see that you read it on a trip to CA. I lived there for many years. You might enjoy my book "Crystal Meth Cowboys" which is a dark-humored police procedural set in a gritty town north of Santa Barbara. Pretty much a 'guy' book but some women have enjoyed it.
Thanks again,
John Knoerle

I saw your review of the new Linda Fairstein book and ended up coming here to check out your library. I also have an advance copy of "Lethal Legacy" and can't wait to read it after your great review! I love mystery/suspense/crime novels also, and I am intrigued with the reviews I've read on the Chris Grabenstein books.

We share more than a love of crime & suspense fiction. I'm employed in Information Technology as a System Administrator.
I can suggest a couple of authors that I don't see listed as your favorites. Laura Lippman has a great series based on a Baltimore-based
ex-reporter turned PI named Tess Monaghan. Lee Child, T Jefferson Parker and Michael Connelly are solid story tellers as well.

I see you haven't been a member for very long but welcome to LT. I hope that this site becomes as addictive to you as it is for many others. I enjoy the mystery, crime arena a lot. I also enjoy a good romance and love ghost stories. Talk to you soon

Or should I say hi neighbor since you are as close as Lorain! Hope you are enjoying your summer. Overall it's been pretty pleasant.
I love the same genre's that you do. I just finished Shutter Island. WHEW! What a ride that was. I loved it!
I am also an animal lover. Currently I live in an apartment, but long for a place to have a dog. Even better yet a place where I can have a dog and a horse. I had one, years ago. What fun!
Anyways, take care and when you find that job where you can read for work, PLEASE grab me an application TOO! LOL :}
