About meI'm the daughter of a librarian, now a middle-aged married mother of three, working as an accountant for a school district. I love books, music, nature and art. I live in the Seattle area, though I'm a native of northern California, grew up in Tucson, AZ, and attended college in St. Louis (Washington University, '81).

About my libraryIt took me longer to input than I thought...got the CueCat, but forgot that many of my books are too old to have barcodes! I'm heavy on literary fiction. I have lots of actual books, but in the past couple of years I've also been listening to audiobooks (downloaded from audible.com). I find that some books are easier to get through by listening, while others are harder. I like being able to "read" books while I'm washing the dishes or folding laundry.

Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
