About meI've been married for 12+years! I currently have three children (Boy, Boy, Girl) AND ANOTHER BOY ON THE WAY!!!

My life's not that adventurous, unless you consider being a Soldier in Current, High Tempo Operations exciting....HOOAH!

I've been in the Army since 1994 as a line soldier, but since 2001 I've been called to serve a greater mission...Serving as a Chaplain to my fellow men and women of the Armed Forces. I'm currently assigned to the Army Chaplain Branch out of Wash. DC as a Staff Specialist. I should pin-on the silver cross in the near future and be "Boots on the Ground" in a short time after that.

I graduated from Ozark Christian College with a degree in Biblical Literature and now am in the third year of my Master of Divinity Degree and a Masters of Professional Counseling at Lincoln Christian Seminary.

Besides my Army duties throughout the year and being a full-time grad student, I'm also serving as a civilian minister building necessary hands-on ministry experience.

About my libraryI didn't become obsessed with books until I went to college. The literary world unleashed the hidden chaos in my mind which has greatly expanded my cognitive processing--conscience and subconscience--to many metalevels. I love books...which I deem to be some of the deadliest weapons in the world...if employed correctly.

My primary library began to develop in 2001, mostly with textbooks for classes. This developed into purchasing recommended books from professors and syllabi which they deemed as essential and further into my analysis of what's good to have a personal copy.

As a minister, whether in the civilian sector or the military, books are a valued resource.

I recently began a new section in my library (150 and 600 series) as I began working on my Master's in Professional Counseling.

I classify all my books according to the Dewey System, but I have modified the cutter system slightly. After the primary division (ex. 151) and subdivision (ex. 151.09), I used the first consonant of the author's last name, he four-digit year, and first primary letter of book title (ex. 151.09 Y2007P). Classifying my library this way aids in book searches for research, book lending, etc. As well, because of how I have my office arranged, the book order runs from left to right (016-900).

What is presently posted are my Amazon books but I will in the near future be posting the remainder of my library (in the process of moving offices and employment).

I love to read...not merely for self, but most importantly, for engaging with and employing the acquired knowledge and wisdom for the good of others.

Jeremy, I was at CHOBC in summer 2001, summer 2003, and winter 2006. I completed it phase by phase over 6 years as a chaplain candidate. Finally came on active duty in May 2006. Good luck with your preparation. You might be interested in some of the news and info at ArmyChaplaincy.com. If I can be of any assistance, give me a yell. Christ's peace, Daniel
Can you see them now?
Hmmm...I don't know why not.
Pretty cool. Need to find the scanner you were telling me about. The dewey ordering is messed up. Still figuring it all out.

If your books are weapons then where are the heavy ballistics bro? I see only metaphysics from one perspective. They say that the problem with conservatives is they read only conservative literature but still the liberals read nothing. My fondest hope is to educate myself until I can become truly objective and then I won't tell anyone what I think. All joking aside, you have an impressive repertoire (arms locker if you will).
The majority of my classified library on the website are my counseling and biblical commentary items. The other half of my library I've yet to post are an assort of many, many things.
Every book listed in my Library is what I have...not what I wish to acquires.

These books are my weapons...tools and resources!
