That's so nice of you, but in fact the book became available at the English-speaking section of my local library, and I could read it there. Thank you so much for offering, and I hope someone will mooch it and enjoy it.
I really like Rickman, I don't think we have any authors like him in France which is a pity as I can think of many things in the regions which would inspire him.
We share a good number of books. I hope we can communicate a bit.
Ooh, that is amazing. Just mooched it from you.
Not a problem. Of course, if you do see more Penman books and happen to think of me, I'd love to get them. I've only got Sunne in Splendor and Devil's Brood.
You are the best!! Thanks so much.

Elizabeth
I'd really love the two Sharon Kay Penman books--is your BookMooch name the same?

Many thanks,
Elizabeth
I just left a message on the BookMooch thread, but I'd love to get Here Be Dragons from you if nobody else has already claimed it. My bookmooch ID is the same as my LT user name.
Thanks
Thanks for letting me know! If you loved the 1st book, you'll love the 2nd & 3rd, guaranteed! I'm looking for the 4th, so if you spot it anywhere, let me know! Mark
Did you ever find a copy of Clash of Kings? Let me know, maybe we can work out something. I'm a big fan of the series, also. I'll be starting the 4th book in a month or so! Mark
Thanks! How are you doing?
Hi,

Perhaps I should clarify--I already have the first two books in the Heaven Tree trilogy, and somewhere along the line I read the third book, but it just doesn't seem to be widely available in the United States. I've seen copies of the trilogy in one volume for sale online a couple of times . . . oh, good grief. I just checked Amazon and there are maybe 40 copies of this book. I'll just be buying one very soon, then! It's amazing to me how much more is available now than even a few years ago.

Thanks,
Elizabeth
Thanks for mooching from me!
Just now saw your WEAVEWORLD recommend, I actually read it when it first came out, what a STUNNINGLY original book! I need to buy it and reread it, absolutely!
Yeah, The Alienist is one of my faves! Also, there's a great book called The Pale Blue Eye by Louis Bayard that it seems to me you would love. It's a murder mystery set in 1840's West Point. A retired NYC constable is brought in to help solve the mystery, and he takes on a sidekick, a young cadet named Edgar Allan Poe...
I was never a huge Mark Twain fan but I really enjoyed A Connecticut Yankee. It's very sharp and funny. Your library seemed to suggest that you have read a lot of books set in medieval Britain so I thought you might enjoy it. The year 1000 is just a fascinating little book, jam packed full of information and really fun to read.
Your welcome! I really hope you enjoy them both as much as I did. Weaveworld is a fantastic ride. Have a great holiday!
Indeed! I was able to enjoy yesterday quite a bit, and today looks fantastic, too. It’s nice to see spring arrive, after having snow just a few days ago! I live at about 7800ft, so snow in May is not that uncommon, but it was the first time I’d seen a thunder snowstorm! You’ve gotta love Colorado’s wacky weather! Frankly, I love the snow, but I admit, I am looking forward to some nice, sunny days; and seeing everything green-up again is a welcomed sight.

Take care,

Ryan
Hey there fellow heathen! I just noticed that we both call Colorado home, so I thought I’d say hello--so, eh, hello.
My daughter is 15. Ever since she was 3 she has wanted a dog with "sticky-up ears." I promised her our next dog will indeed have them. :o)
