About meI was born in Massachusetts. I am a military brat and traveled alot as a kid but I lived the longest in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. I love the fall here. The colors can't be described. It is like a Thomas Locker illustration.I am an educator who is looking forward to retirement years. I enjoying reading when I can.

Hello, jewels! Good to see you posting. I know you're insanely busy, but I hope you're getting to enjoy some 'me' time!

How goes it, jewels hunny?
:o)
Not sure if you will be able to get it as he is an Australian author and illustrator, but "Olga the Brolga" by Rod Clements is another favourite here. "Mister Magnolia" by Quentin Blake too. They are not new books, but great fun!
Oh and "Let's get a pup" and there is the followup...hmmm...something like living with a pup? by Bob Graham. Have a squizz through my library. Not all the books are ther, but a significant number are!
I posted this in the invitation thread you responded to about Mem fox books. I wasn't sure if you had seen it, so thought i'd do a quick cut and paste FYI!

Jewels...a quirky book worth getting your hands on is "A Particular Cow". Beautiful illustrations of the desert fauna and flora of Central Australia are in "Hunwick's Egg", though I feel the story is a more suited for an older child.
Hi Jewels, I accidentally clicked on your name in a GD thread. *waves*
The Barrington Library is the one I visited most as a kid. =) Had a better selection than the one in Warren...although the Warren Library has a lot more charm. Bethany and I had a great time on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. Can't wait until the next gathering. =)
Yup! I have 'Everyone Poops' listed! :oD
And now you share 11 of your 17 entered books with me!
:oD
Your comment in your birthday thread about "summer reading" made me smile. Lets see some more of your books so we know what your are reading, OK?

Okay! It's been TWO MONTHS, jewels.
