About meI'm a young professional pursuing my M.A. in English at Northern Kentucky University. I have a B.A. in History and I'm hoping to work toward a Ph.D eventually, and to teach at a four year university.

If you follow the link on this profile, you'll find my book blog, Living Between the Pages: My Life in Books. It's my little corner of the world where I post reviews, headlines, and network with other book bloggers and readers. I invite everyone to check it out, bookmark it, and join the fun!

My taste in books is very eclectic. I love historical fiction, particularly about England and the American Civil War. I also enjoy classic works of fiction, contemporary fiction about every topic under the sun (it seems) and of course, Harry Potter. I devoted a decade of my life to those books, and they're very precious to me. I also like non fiction, especially biographies and books containing random informative bits about places and the people who live there. In short, it's much easier for me to look through a list of book descriptions and pick out the few I wouldn't be interested in, than the other way around!

About my libraryI either own or have read every book in my library. I have a huge pile (a few shelves, really) of books I own but have not read. Any book in my library that has a rating has been read. Of the remaining books, some I may have read, but did so too long ago to give it a proper rating until I reread. The rest are my TBR list.

I joined LT in early 2008, and you'll see yearly tags in my library beginning with that year. This is so I can keep track of what I've read that particular year. However, it doesn't always mean it's the first time I've read the work.

I've recently redone my tag system to include more general information about publication and classification of writing. Some works are broken down into very specific topics, but not all of them are like this. My tag system is an ever-evolving creature, and I look forward to the time when LT finally unveils a Collections feature!

Came acrosss your library by accident. Seeing your interests, I'd like to suggest just what you need - something more to read.... but I thought you might enjoy Costain's The Conquering Family, and maybe the rest of the series... http://www.librarything.com/work/5446845
