About meI'm a librarian, but I rarely read the books I buy! :) I work in an academic library, and order engineering and philosophy books. I prefer to read fiction, especially nonviolent or funny mysteries, young adult novels, children's books, and lately-- suspense novels.

I'm sorry they took so long to arrive! I got my SantaThing books way back in December - I didn't realize people were still waiting. I do hope you enjoy them. The Mysterious Benedict Society is wonderful and a series, so if you like the first one you will like the others. It's been so long since I did this I can't remember the third one I picked. How embarrassing. But I hope you like it too. :)

Thanks for the SantaThing selections. I finally received them today, Ghost Map and Time and Again. I look forward to trying them out!
Just wondering if you got your SantaThing books yet? And, if you did, did you like them? I hope you hadn't read any of them yet or didn't already have them. Merry Christmas!!!

Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it also contains a young female narrator struggling with a series of tragic circumstances. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:
