First of all thank you for adding me to your interesting libraries. I am flattered that you were curious about my books.
Secondly; regarding the group read, we all read the same book, some at the same rate of speed, some faster than others and some slower others. Mark will set up a separate thread for each reading section of the book so that there are no spoilers for those of us who do read the book more slowly than others. If one has comments to make on the section they have just finished, they just post them to the appropriate thread. The threads will be on the 50 book challenge.
You will be hearing more as the time draws near.
Thank you so much for your interest and your response.
hugs,
belva

Mark and I have been discussing the possibility of another group read in November and want your input. We have narrowed it down to two books at this point. "The People of the Book" by Geraldine Brooks and "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. So chat it up with friends or us and let us know if you are up for it and what you think. Probably the same plan as with "Pillars of the Earth" which seemed to work out perfectly for almost all of us.
Think it over and give one of us a shout.
hugs and looking forward to hearing from you,
belva

I envy you working with books all day! But it would really kill my budget--I have no control in a bookstore!
It's not to late to update you challenge--2 1/2 months left in the year (I keep reminding myself!).

I just read your comment about the books you were reading and I noticed you tried to do the touchstones. Instead of using the regular parenthesis ( ) or (( )) marks, use the square brackets: [ ] and [[ ]]. This will bring up the blue links (assuming the touchstones are working properly!). I nnede someone to help me use them, also. It can be confusing.
You have some very interesting books. I'm going to check your 50 books challenge to see what you've read this year. I'm glad you liked A Room with a View--it is a favorite of mine.
