About meMy favorite authors are Jane Austen and Margaret Atwood. I have yet to get through a Virginia Woolf or a Charles Dickens (except for A Tale of Two Cities which was require reading in 11th grade). My goal is to read at least on Dickens, War & Peace, and all the works of Atwood.

About my libraryMy collection is at about 200 books now and leans more towards classic and newer fiction. I'm attempting to collect more non-fiction books, especially in the areas of Feminist Literature, European History, and Historical Biographies.

Noticed you liked Girl Interrupted, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's mental illness and also a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

I didn't read ANY Dickens 'till last year. You might try Bleak House or David Copperfield first. They sre good stories and very approachable.
