What other kinds of books do you like? I like mysteries, baseball books, nonfiction, presidential biographies, disasters, and many other types. I'm in a lot of groups here and would be happy to send an invitation if you're also interested in any of these types of books.

A few weeks ago, I started a group called 50 states fiction (or nonfiction). I am hoping to read a novel set in each of the states, though some are trying for a novel and a work of nonfiction.
Hi BG: I just ordered that 1959 book on my Kindle but I haven't read it yet. I've got 5 books left to finish my first 999 challenge and I want to get those read before I go any further on my second 999 challenge. I saw an ad for it and I tend to like books focusing on one year.

Earlier this summer, I read a book about 1969. Someone else mentioned a book about 1968 and I know I still want to read the 1964 book, too.
Hi: Welcome to LT.

I think that there are general book discussion groups here. Under groups, look for a "what I am reading now" type of group. There is also a nonfiction book group that I am in. You can talk about it there if that's appropriate.

I am doing several challenges, including the 999, the 75 book challenge (twice), and a few others (presidents and 50 states fiction) so I talk about my books there, in a thread I started for my reading, for 75 books and the 999 challenge at least.
