About me I am a scientist who spends entirely too much time reading books when I should be reading journal articles.

About my library Having early overflowed its bookshelf, my little library is encroaching upon the rest of our small apartment. This database is composed of books I currently own, unless otherwise marked (as borrowed, for example).

Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries! I have reciprocated -- it looks like we have some shared interests ...
Happy reading!
Laura
I completely agree. East of Eden is essentially a different type of novel than Grapes, although my thesis is trying to show how they are in dialog with each other, i.e. that Eden actually is a continuation of many of the themes Steinbeck was dealing with in Grapes.

The thesis is going. ::sigh:: The working draft is due by the 7th. This is probably why it's been almost two weeks since I've logged into LibraryThing. Hope things are going well with you. A pleasure to meet you.
Haha, I ended up dropping the Arabic class because I got sick (about two weeks into the semester, ick) and since it was non-credit and in the evening, bleh. I have been reading lots of fiction lately, though, which is exciting!
