About me I'm a professional musician; a guitarist, alas. I'm middle aged (45), and have been building my library since I was eleven. My reading has slowed these past two years or so: I'm no longer a minimum of a book a day....in fact, some weeks I read nothing other than my newspapers and RSS feeds. The cataloging I'm at present enjoying may well be some kind of displacement activity: instead of, rather than as well as.
I'm trying to write a novel (but who isn't?) and I hope that I manage to write something more commercial than my last attempt.
About my library Somewhat Catholic in tastes. I collect Christopher Logue Firsts. (Well a chap has to have a hobby, after all.) There's a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy rubbish from my schooldays, but then again, let those without sin cast the first stone.

Sadly, Charing Cross road is not what it was (on the secondhand front at least!). That said, I rarely come away empty handed.
