About my libraryThis collection represents the collected professional books on shelves behind Jack Atkinson's desk in his study at home in Ann Arbor Michigan at the time of his death in 2003 - his professional collection.

This was a segregated space from the home library general collection. These books have been in storage with all his professional papers. His library books will be cataloged here from the physical items before the books are dispersed. Before his death, Atkinson designated his daughter Ann Mina Atkinson Sawusch as responsible for his professional books, papers & correspondence.

*note from Ann Sawusch:
Bound book volumes are not wanted as part of archival collections of my father's professional and personal papers - however what he chose to collect and keep near his workspace in his study will provide a fuller picture of the man and his process.

I have delayed many years beginning this project. His collection needs to come out of storage and be processed. LT seems to me to be the best way to record this part of his legacy to the Science of Psychology.

LT Project initiated July 2018. Books will be added here to LT box at a time. Box # is noted as a tag.
