About meBook lover. Book hoarder. For life.

My current 75 Challenge thread can be found here

About my libraryBooks are my tickets to travelling this world and beyond. If you have a book in your hand, you can't possibly be bored and if you are, then get a new book. :)

As you will quickly notice, I am quite broad in my choice of books. I dabble in almost all genres with the exception of non-fiction (which I am slowly learning to enjoy). All book recommendations are appreciated and welcome.

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” Dr. Seuss - I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!

4 Stars: So, so, very hard to put down...
3 Stars: Purr...I'm content...almost...
2 Stars: Anxiously eyeing the next book in my pile...

Hello Val I do hope all is well with you.

Hi Valerie-
Just swinging by to do my new years greetings, and to see how things are with you. I hope you and yours are well !
Hi Val, so good to see you. I took a real flyer at The Significance of All Things. I was not a fan of Eat, Pray, Love but I kept seeing these rave reviews for her new book. Yes, no interest in botany at all but what a book! So good. BTW, I never got to thank you for getting me to read Tigana. I loved it (my first fantasy read)and I went on to read The Lions of Al-Rassan which I liked even more. So thanks for turning me into a fantasy reader. Hope all is well with you and your family.

How are you? Still miss you around the threads. I got so many book bullets from you last year. I need to check out your book lists for ideas.

Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Hi Valerie- I was just thinking about you so decided to come see what you are up to. I hadnt realised you were keeping track of your 2013 books here, great! Looks like you are getting a fair bit read. Good for you- I hope you and the family are well.
