About my libraryMy library gives me away: an undergraduate degree in physics and math, some graduate work in climate change science and policy, career as a technical writer and information architect, and a recently completed master's degree in library science. Also, a fan of fantasy and science fiction.

Cataloging is in process. I've got maybe half of the shelved items done, but as for the ones in boxes under the beds, the ones at work, the ones by my desk, the ones lent out, the ones still at my parents' house....

Hi Jonathan,

My name is Dan Iddings and I'm the Executive Director of PALCI, the PA Academic Library Consortium. When you were at Pitt did you ever use E-ZBorrow? That's what we're most famous for.

Anyway, we are looking to replace the ancient version we now have. My hope is that we will find a development partner to help us create a whole new thing. Keeping the functionality we need, with a Web 2.0, social networking, LibraryThingish type replacement system.

If you or your company is interested let me know. I have an RFI out on the street and I'll be happy to send it to you.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Dan
