About meI am an academic librarian, historian, husband, father-to-be, writer, and traveler. I have fun in the world of words.

About my libraryThe majority of my collection falls in the categories of European history, European literature, sci-fi/fantasy, and Crime Fiction. In addition, I also have a decent cookbook/beer brewing section, antique book collection and a growing travel section, but, unfortunately not the passport stamps to match. Thanks for reading!

Many thanks for thinking my Library is 'Interesting'. It has taken a long, long time to put the collection together in it's present form. Although I periodically weed out a few volumes,it continues to grow apace. I rather think it breeds under cover of darkness.
All the best.
So I came to your page today, to browse through library some more and see what I can add to my wishlist. I figure we have similar interests so why not. And I seriously couldn't help but notice we joined Library Thing on the same day. Just sayin', great minds think alike!
When you get your article on the Mechanics' Institutes and Working Class Literacy could you let me know where to find it? I would like to take a look.
