About meI'm a Christian web developer working for Community Transit; living in Everett, WA; and worshipping at Christ Covenant Church in Lynnwood, WA.

About my libraryI have most of my old childhood books (Boxcar Children, Redwall, Bill Meyers' "My Life As..." series!), and over the last 6 years have been building my theological library. Over the last ~3 years I've been building a computer science and mathematics library, and this last year I've been really getting into sociology, economics, and history.

I buy most of my books at Half Price Books, of which there are at least 5 branches I visit fairly often. I also enjoy buying books from friends and family when they are forced to downsize their libraries.

I'm trying to keep my books read/unread ratio at about 1/3 (not including reference works), which is all I've been able to sustain as my collection has grown. To help me monitor my reading/buying rate, I have tagged every book with exhaustive, and mutually exclusive tags: read, unread, and reference. To calculate the percentage of books I've read, I just compute read/(read + unread). It's a pretty rockin' metric.

Yah I definitely recommend it. They have had quotes by GK Chesterton, and its a really nice atmosphere. Oh and the coffee is good too.
Hey! You live in WA too! Have you ever been to the Green Bean before?
