I'm fascinated by your collection of geographical and religious Victoriana. I'm in the midst of getting an article together on Anglo Israelism and "empire" in Australia and New Zealand in the late nineteenth century, and just being able to browse through your library has been extremely helpful for me. By the way, are the "josiasporter" who posts to Cuteulike?

But you have so many wonderful books! I am always especially interested in reference works. And I see we share an interest in Egypt and sub-Saharan Africa. I have also been collecting books for a long time on English history, architecture and geography.

I was just visiting arethusarose's profile - we're friends here and elsewhere - and saw you posted a comment about an unfinished Ransome book having to do with Coots in the North - this comment of yours was back in 2008- can you say more about this? I've loved Ransome since I was about 12 and thought I had all of the sailing books.
