About meI am a 30-something-year-old woman in Jersey City, NJ. In addition to being a passionate reader ("literary" fiction, Yiddish lit & contemporary Jewish writers, Brit lit, mysteries with great female characters, some SF and fantasy, witty essays, a bit of poetry, and lots of academic history, women's & gender studies, anthropology, and Jewish studies), I am a writer (of history and fanfiction), knitter, quilter, sewer, seller of organic foods, movie lover, foodie, fan of Harry Potter, Doctor Who, CSI, and The Closer, appreciator of photography and all textile arts, and former (and future) cat owner.
