Just looked at your catalog & see you've a lot of books in my area of interest--hist of med, among others. Are you perchance a medical librarian --or what?
I'm a dog nut too, altho dogless at the moment. I've had a boxer & 2 labs, as well as fox terriers when I was a kid. As forgardening, the only thin I have is a black thumb!
You attractive dog, you!
It's a photo of Bookworm by Gary Price

I'm a gardener too, I'll have to check out your list.
Also like your dog's photo.
