Judith is a fine writer with lots of wit and humor. She deals often with the trials of solo librarianship, which is is a difficult but an interesting way to work. Much of her writing is about the practical side of librarianship, such as how to do things and how to relate to others in your organization, especially when they don't havea clue about what librarians do.
