About my libraryLove all books - classic literature, new fiction, non-fiction, history, biography, autobiography, everything. I would spend all day reading if it weren't for college. My secret love is historical romances; I need them to de-stress between exams and papers. I've noticed my reviews have been getting progressively longer - I'm sorry, I can't help it!!

Wow, we do have a lot of books in common! I was really disappointed with the Scoundrels of St. James series until I read "Surrender to the Devil". There was so much emotion in the book and it was very well done. I thought "Midnight Pleasures of a Scoundrel" was equally good, but in a different way.

I've read some Jenna Petersen in the past and thought it was OK. I think I was more disappointed with the subject matter than with the writing. Her last series was about spies and I'm pretty sick of that plotline. It seems like every author has written about that in the last year and, unless its amazing, I'm just sick of it. I have Jenna's new book on my Paperbackswap list so I figure I'll get it in the next few weeks - not that I need more books on my TBR list.
Thanks for connecting! It's sad that we were both disappointed by [The Care and Taming of a Rogue]! I had really been anticipating this one. Oh well, not every book can be great. I'd love to hear your thoughts on [Midnight Pleasures with a Scoundrel] when you get to it. I read that a few days ago and really enjoyed it.
Just had to say I really enjoyed your reviw of "Tempt me at Twilight"! You hit on the head all the things I was thinking that I couldn't figure out how to work into my review of the book or the little Q&A session over on the Romance Group. Good job!!
Noticed you liked Girl Interrupted, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's mental illness and also a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
