About me I am a cataloger in a university library, which just feeds into my obsession with the written word. I usually read 100 books a year, although that number drops significantly when I'm taking classes.

You'll note I have several titles in philosophy on my list, because I am a student in that field.

I am also a vegan, and you will note many vegan and vegan-friendly cookbooks in my library.

My favorite book, if I had to name just one, would be "Wittgenstein's Mistress" by David Markson. I read it at least once a year, and it's different every time.

Recommendations are always appreciated!

About my library Once upon a time, I tried to buy every book I could get my hands on, but that was not a good idea. So, I've sold off or given away most of my books. I am now a committed library user, except for those few books I really want to own.

So, my 'library' here is not representative of things I own. Instead, I'm using it to keep track of books I've read, books I want to read, etc.

Some tags of note:

'@ToReadNext' = if I had to prioritize, I'd like to read these works before moving on to others.

'Wishlist' = books I want to own.

'TBR' = books To Be Read, but not to buy (yet).

'RA' = books I've Read Already, at least once.

'own' = books I own already, in case you're curious.

'1001Books' = books considered 'classics' of literature, mostly adjudicated so by the book "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die".

Enjoyed perusing your library! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback on the Markson book. In the ongoing addenda to my (someday to be published) "Revised Crime Fiction IV: A Comprehensive Bibliography 1749-2000" which is appearing at www.crimefictioniv.com, I'll indicate (in upcoming batch #16) that the series character does not appear.

I see that you have a copy of David Markson's "Miss Doll, Go Home".
To settle some confusion about the book, can you tell me if Markson's
private eye Harry Fannin appears in the book?

Thanks for any help!
