About me medical technologist for thirty years (was electron microscopist for ca 15 of them)in public hospital, previously worked physics lab ca 8 years, drilling rig 1 yr. seismic crew sw tasmania ca 18 mnths, serviced spectrophotometers ca 18 months, bookshop work (ca 1968/9) and other stuff. insufficient academic education makes book accumulation a bit obsessive, 'specially maths.
type one diabetes ca 52 years, but insulin dose always "lowish".
always claim most education from life in "camp pell" 1947 - 1954, [born 1943]
married with two 'kids' now both older than me and a previously resistant missus now also collecting books rapidly.

About my library a right mess that fills the house, vaguely grouped - maths and computing, australiana, australian novels, aust. indigenous 'matters, U.S. politics, US civil rights history and politics, U.S. literature, bit of biology, electron and other microscopy, physics and chemistry, australian and other short stories, botany and gardening - and a bit of "other stuff".
it is not big enough, but i should never boot a computer or i'll never get 'em all read - sorry, i left out large collection of commie biogs, most australian :=>>
