About meRetired from Circulation Dept. of Howard County (MD) Library.
Now active in volunteer activity of one kind & another.
I've been involved with an organization, PFLAG (Parents, Families, & Friends of Lesbians & Gays) since 1984. I care passionately about achieving Marriage Equality for All, and the elimination of all forms of discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation. I'm a member of steering committee of PFLAG Columbia-Howard Co. Chapter, and have also assumed the role of Chapter Librarian.

About my libraryMy book collection reflects my involvement in PFLAG (Parents, Families, & Friends of Lesbians & Gays). My personal reading tastes run to memoir, biography and non-fiction. I have many more books than I will probably EVER get cataloged on LibraryThing.
I seem to have a problem with letting go of books. Although, I will inevitably have to do that do that one of these days.
