Hi Kathel, I had to smile reading your note because Ive had a major "women seeks solace, taking to the woods" fetish for years from the very old fashioned to the modern day versions of which there are many. Im kind of surprised we dont have more books in common but I'll check out the one you mentioned. Found your comments on Home maker interesting too. The part about the newspapers has stuck with me all these years. I read it as a young mother which of course made it all that much more meaningful to me at the time. Lent it out and recommended it whereever I could after that. thanks so much for writing... kathy
