Presumably life without a car is somewhat trickier in the US than I find it in the UK. Even here though many people can't even begin to think that it is possible. I'm sure your book has many tips for dealing with others perceptions, and also the trickier porblem of how larger families could cope.
Doesn't look like our reading tastes overlap much.

My name is Luis Patricio and I live in Curitiba Brazil. My wife and I are carfree citizens and we are engaged in bicycle advocacy for a few years. Recently I joined the WCN and bought your book (Divorce your car !).
I found it really amazing and many of my friends asked me about it. Unfortunately, many of them don't read english. So, I was wondering if it would be possible to translate the book for brazilian portuguese. I think we could reach a good public here in Brazil.
First of all, I would like to know what you think about the idea.
best regards,
Luis Patricio
