I guessed it was you. I often ask Heather which books you suggested to her because it seems we have very similar taste in novels. The Elegance of the Hedgehog is next on my list to read. I've heard raves from several people. Right now I'm re-reading Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell. I'd forgotten how funny it is. I gave Heather The People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks (I loved Year of Wonders too) since it was one of my favorites of the ones I've read recently.
