I selected this book for a younger group of students to teach them about different animals and to view all of the interesting colors used in this book. I selected this book because I feel it is important to select books that focus on a different culture other than your own. This book teaches students about key aspects of the Spanish culture. I would use this text to teach st (1), I choose this book because it has a lot of vocabulary words that would be good to introduce to the student. This book touches base on segregation and how it affects one little girl. I woud use this book to introuduce the topics of segregation and racism. (1), Genre: Juvenile Literature. I selected this book because I believe the plot has a very valuable lesson to be taught. The book does a great job of showing students that it is important to just be themselves.
