About me I'm 24, from Mississippi, intelligent, inquisitive, like to pretend I'm knowledgable; I am well-read on many things but I haven't been able to get too interested in the "classics" like Austin and Shakespeare, or even Dickens. Does that make me flaky? Am I missing something? Never heard of Sappho...

About my library I love fiction that I can read and still learn something from it. Well-written and researched fiction is the best entertainment available, and I read a lot of it. I like an author to be poetic in a way, very descriptive, and the narration precise. Do not mistake me for a romantic; there is no Nora or Lisa on my bookshelf. I like authors to be bold and tender, the book to be haunting and taut. To name a few; Karin Slaughter, John Connolly, Greg Iles, Pete Hamil, Joshua Spanogle, Mo Hayder, a bit of King and a dash of Grisham, and there's more. I have an eclectic mix that ranges from crime to law to medical & whimsical.
