About meI have taught high school science for 17 years. This year I will be teaching two new classes that I've never taught before.. AP Biology and Zoology, added to my College Physics and General Biology.
My class Wiki is here: http://mrs-at-pbhs.wikispaces.com/
I enjoy many outdoor activities, hiking, camping, birding, and spend quite a bit of time involved with my son (11) and Boy Scouts. I also am a sports fan, I follow the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs, and passionately follow the Mizzou Tigers in all sports. My daughter (13) plays competitive softball in the summers and hopes to play someday at the college level, so I anticipate my next few summers being a mix between camping with my son and camping out at softball complexes watching my daughter play ball.
All in all a busy life. Nice thing about softball tournaments is so long as I have a chair and some shade, I can get quite a bit of reading done ;-)
About my libraryIt's pretty heavy towards science fiction and fantasy, with quite a bit of science and history non-fiction. I also like mysteries and historical military fiction.
My goal is to keep my "Currently Reading" list to 10 books or less...

I read in the what books did you receive today thread that you like bookcovers. You might enjoy looking at my library, as I am trying to upload all my books and magazines into LibraryThing over the next year or so. I seem to have a unique library and I don't seem to run across people who upload covers very often.
My latest "rule" that I recently self-imposed is to try and upload one shelf at a time and than upload the covers and not move on until that shelf is complete. But I get impatient, lol.
Cheers-
