Your books have been mailed. They will be in transit tomorrow and should arrive in approximately 4 business days. Canada Post tracking number is CX 480 640 536 CA. I was told that you might be able to use this same tracking number while the package is in transit via USPS.

Hi Ken,

Shipping and postage costs for the books are $45.25. The item will arrive in approximately 4 business days, is insured up to $100, and gets a tracking number (I'm assuming just to the Canada/US border). So total amount for the item would be $295.25. Are you alright with this?

All my Mint HPs have slipcases and Sandglass. This one is particularly nice because of the Covarrubias illustrations in full color as the LECs are. In fact, I think the HP illustrations are bit better. The price would be $20.00 plus media mail postage. I'll see if I have a photo, and email it too you if I do.

I think I see what's happening here. Szyk illustrated a copy of Hans Christian Andersen's Fairy Tales but is erroneously listed as the author. I tried to update Szyk's author page when I uploaded this photo.

Unfortunately no letters. Sorry I didn't see that you had asked that earlier. I will try to get a photo of that in the next day or so. The book is in very good condition and the slipcase is as well. Light rubbing to the slipcase.

Thanks for your message, I went ahead and searched google about this set and saw a post by one of the editors at the Physicsforum recommending the second printing of this set (there are errors in the first printing hardback that I think Amazon is selling (you just have no way of telling what printing they have; although it seems that the paperback version is not affected) and that their plan to issue this 3 vol. set as a 4 vol set with the Tips has been scrapped. They are publishing the tips and examples seperately in paperpack.

Hi Ken,

The book is in excellent condition and really doesn't have any issue with it. The slipcase isn't in as good condition as it has been repaired where some of the edges split, and has loss to the red color where the color has chipped, but the spine label is good. It is structurally sound and functional, however. If this is still ok, your offer seems very fair. If you would like a photo, let me know, and give me your email.

Ken,

What is your email? I can send you a few photos. My copy is actually in really nice condition with just some loss of the leather at the top and bottom of the spine but very little relative to what you usually see with these volumes. Give me a couple of days to get those photos to you though. I'm not quite sure yet what I want for them as I haven't taken a look online at the prices recently. Let me get you those photos and we can take it from there
