About meHi, my name is Sam and I am a bibliophile. A friend of mine once said "its books or crack" so I guess I am just doing my part in the war on drugs. I read pretty much everything I can get my hands on. I love the classics, historical fiction, non-fiction history, fantasy, and yes I am even a romance fan. A lot of people look down on romance and untill recently I was one of them... but you know what I am still a silly little girl at heart and everyone needs a little romance (and a little saucyness)in their lives. So I will enjoy my dewy eyed maidens with heaving bosoms and my bodice riping rakish lords and anyone who thinks less of me for it I say takes themselves too seriously. :P

About my libraryMy Uber Book Rating System of Doom

1) Do not under any circumstances read this book!!! It is so far beyond abysmal the human vocabulary can not name the realm wherein it resides.

1.5) Abysmal! Read only if you enjoy books so bad they make you want to slit your wrists.

2)Bad! Read only if there is absolutely nothing else. It wont make you slit your wrists but it is only good for distracting you from doing so out of boredom.

2.5) Disappointing read. read at your own risk

3) Pretty good... something to read

3.5) Good! worth reading sometime

4) A good solid read. quite enjoyable!

4.5) Very good, definitely read this book!

5) Perfection, if you do not read this book you are an r-tard! Drop whatever you are reading and get this book now!!!

Also when looking at my library, if a book has no stars by it that means I have not read it yet. This site doesnt have a 'to read' section yet so that is how I organise my to read pile.

Hi! I just saw your post on Scott Lynch and I'm in total agreement. I also wanted to let you know that the second book, Red Seas Under Red Skies is out. It is just as good as the first. I sure can't wait for the rest!
I've started a group thats dedicated just to discussing HP and the Deathly Hallows. its called HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS ONLY. We could all post about the last book there so that is will be contained and we won;t have to worry as much aobut spoilers. Join when you finish the book.
Hiya! Thanks for the Katie MacAlister invitation. :) I'll try to post when I have more time.
I love your rating system, and I'm going to use it. It rocks!
Thanks for the invite to the Katie Mac Group! Happy to join. I'm a huge fan of her Guardian series.
