About meI am a mostly retired pathologist from Billings , MT.

About my libraryI am in the process of cataloging a somewhat unkempt collection of books from the past 50 or 60 years, and trying to weed them out. Any suggestions to help in this process are welcome

@ yr Jim Harrison comment on italicizing:

Couldn't it just be they italicized the first three words of the story? That happens sometimes...

(I've never read any Harrison--just looking into his stuff right now.)
Since I've been on Library Thing your library has appeared as one of the fifty most similar to mine. I have enjoyed looking through your books. I see that you have bought Francis Beckwith's Return to Rome. I'd be interested in your opinion of it.
Sorry, I do not have the answer to your scanner problem. But I sympathize with you because my scanner is possessed by a demon. It works perfectly fine one day and not at all the next. I have now reloaded the software six times.

On another note, thank you for joining the Political Conservatives group. Welcome!
This may sound silly. I entered a fair number of books using a barcode scanning of the ISBN, which seemed to work fairly well. Now I come back after a few weeks away and the little thing to click on to activate the scanner isn't around anymore. What do I do?

Thanks
