About meI am a full-time public servant and father of two young kids. I try to spend most of my spare time out on a kayak or lost in non-fiction tales about the ocean. When I'm between non-fiction books, I read Australian literature and crime novels.

About my libraryMy library follows a few rules:

1) Must be a hardcover edition*;
2) Must be non-fiction;
3) Must be related to the ocean.

*Exception made for Australian stories and kayaking tales.

This isn't a bad list to get started for others who share a similar passion to my own:

Nice to see someone else interested in 1. Hardcover 2. Non-fiction and 3. Related to ocean.

My wife and I have spent time in Melbourne and loved it there. We have a very good friend from Ocean Grove that comes to visit us each year to teach Bowen Bodywork. As you can see from my categories, I have a lot of nautical books. I also love books on adventure, mountain climbing and singular subjects. We travel internationally several times a year and I usually collect books about the countries we visit.
