Thanks for visiting my library. I am a librarian-wannabe; currently studying for the GRE. I hope to get accepted into a program Fall 2009 start. Reading is my life, too, which is why I've become my church's librarian, and have taken on chairmanship of the Book Fair at my kids' school. Time to take the love of reading and books and give it back to people, eh?

Have you read "A Memoir of Friendship: The Letters Between Carol Sheilds and Blanche Howard"? I found it sad at times, and inspiring.

hi there. thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries! i see you like carol shields! i actually met her in college! she was friends with one of my literature professors and she came by and discussed "the stone diaries" with us!
