About meI am a 34 year old married mom of 3 who works part time living in Alberta Canada. And a self professed book junkie who wishes that she had found this site 2 years ago before I gave away 10 boxes of my books when we moved.
Most of my books are ones that I have bought for myself. A few I have bought on clearance in order to trade, some are from my childhood and others have been passed on to me from various people. I have a few permanent collections - entire Nancy Drew series (some white spine and 3 first edition, first print), most of the Trixie Beldens (paperback and some hardcover) and some old Anne of Green Gables series books (including an Anne of Green Gables 9th impression print April 1909 w/o dust jacket and a 38th impression print May 1914 with dust jacket).

About my libraryI don't tend to read anything too heavy cause with three kids I just don't have time. I like suspense, romance, historical fiction, science fiction, and young adult novels. I am a big Harry Potter and Twilight series fan. Most of my books nowadays are courtesy of audible.com and I listen to them on my ipod. I love listening to my books while I do housework - works well for drowning out voices of fighting kids too.

Some of my favorite books from when I was a kid are Anne of Green Gables, Nancy Drew series, Trixie Belden series, and Katherine by Anya Seton.

We have a lot of children's books in our house and we are one of Scholastic's best customers. The only person I know that has spent more at Scholastic than me is my MIL who is a teacher. My kids are currently reading Magic Tree House, Horrible Harry, Geronimo Stilton, Scooby Doo, Rainbow Magic, Pony Wishes, and other miscellaneous standalone books.
