About me I'm just a regular 49 year old guy with one wife and two children (one living and one deceased). Our Lord has been gracious. Despite my struggle in learning to read text as if each word was a picture through "Dick & Jane" readers, I still retain an almost insatiable thirst for the knowledge that books reveal to us. A passion in my life is to transmit the body of knowledge and methodology of proper reading instruction to parents so that their children will become readers and lovers of classic literature.

About my library Thanks to Jared Olivetti who solved my problem on how to inventory my growing library - use Library Thing! As you can see, history, especially American history, and the Christian life are two main subject areas in my library and have peaked my interest for many years. Interestingly enough, I have found that they are not necessarily exclusive to each other. To reflect my personal passion in the area of childhood education, I have amassed an extensive education collection, especially in the area of reading instruction.

I liked your review of "To Train Up A Child." That book is a must have for all new or expecting parents. Or anyone who desires to become a more correct thinker.

Also, I was wondering what you were talking about in the way you read as pictures? Can you inform me of what you are speaking of please? Thank you, and God bless.
Christopher
