About my libraryMy library consists mostly of children's fiction - both old favourites from childhood and more recent reads.

My key kidlit collecting areas are historical fiction, time travel, re-tellings of fairy-tales and mystery novels.

I also collect picture books, especially those illustrated by Lauren Child, Quentin Blake, Kevin Henkes and more recently Trina Schart Hyman.

I also have a small collections of British/Irish/Australian chicklit, mysteries and a few more serious works.

My star rating: Basically, I don't keep books I don't like.
5 stars means the book is one of my long time favourites
4 stars - often given to books I adored as a child but don't hold the same magic when read as an adult. Great books but not in the top ten category.
3 stars - a good read nothing outstanding but a bit better than average
2 stars - quick or light read, not up to repeated re-readings but ok for the beach or occasional story time
1 star - ok read

Noticed you liked She's Come Undone, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's downward spiral and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
