And because people tend to ask, Kid Silk Haze is a type of yarn. The greatest yarn in the universe. It's made by Rowan and is fuzzy and soft and warm and comes in good colors.

Hi!
I saw in the 'Librarians who Librarything' group that you're a MLS student at U of Maryland! Cool! I'm currently completing my undergrad degrees, and am quite interested in Maryland, . If you have time time, would you be interested in chatting with me about the program and the school? I'd love to get an insider's opinion. Hope to hear from you soon!
d'oh—just read your description of yourself. Ok, everyone knows. It's not just an in-joke that I was in enough to know.
Kid Silk Haze!—how many people know that your name is an homage to a type of yarn?
*waves* Hi! :D
In some ways, Moll's story is mirrored by izlammic women's today -- unable for the most part to make a living except in illicit ways, no matter how strong their will is. I really enjoyed how deFoe tied together all the different strands...but was miffed at how he neglected to tell what happened to all her children! At the end when she meets up with her son and tells him he is her Only son(!), I felt annoyed!

I'm a third of the way through Moll Flanders and just got around reading the LT reviews, including yours. I'm wondering if you meant to say you wish it had been half as long? It's kind of funny to imagine Chatty Cathy's story going for Twice As Long, and her listener appreciating it! Anyway, it gave me a laugh reading your review and some of the others, but frankly I think it's sort of a depressing story, because of the truth of it being probably the way of it for most women in that day.

Thanks for using the "meddling kids" tag.
Did you finish Wide Awake? I loved it and was curious to see what someone else thought.

Cheers,
Amanda
