Welcome to the addiction! It looks like we have tons of books in common. I hope you do take up review writing one day -- it's easy and it's really helpful to other people who are looking for great books to read.

I love the Reading Globally group. Most of the books I read now come from recommendations in their discussions. This month, our group read focuses on literature by Muslim women who don't feel oppressed. Next month, we are reading about the former Yugoslavia and in June we will focus on the immigrant experience. Here's the link:
