About meI am an enthusiastic bibliophile and have been since childhood. I read widely, but especially enjoy good fiction, including mysteries, science fiction, and fantasy. I work as an academic advisor at the University of Minnesota; one of my passionate avocations is as a dramaturg in the Minneapolis-St Paul theatre community. I also volunteer in our public library system.

About my libraryMy library was pared down significantly in summer 2006 when I moved with my partner from our home of 20+ years to a condo. I'm also doing less purchasing and more borrowing from libraries. I do hope to get my collection entered here little-by-little, since it's still quite large. It includes many books by and about Shakespeare as he and his work are one of my long-term passions.
